Sara Franko lives in LaGrange Park with her husband, Jim, two daughters Violet (4) and Amelia (2), and a 90-pound rescue dog named Ruby. While pregnant with her first daughter in Chicago in 2010, Sara discovered Fit4Baby, FIT4MOM's prenatal fitness class. Since most of her friends had already had babies, she enjoyed bonding and sharing experiences with the other soon-to-be moms in her class. After her oldest daughter was born, she moved on to Stroller Strides classes, but soon found herself moving to the suburbs. Two years later she became the proud owner of FIT4MOM - Chicago Western Suburbs.

Sara is an AFAA certified group fitness instructor, focused on providing safe, yet effective workouts for pre- and post-natal moms. She loves meeting amazing and inspiring moms, is the unofficial "baby whisperer" at Stroller Strides classes, and loves burpees!

Annie Pagano lives in Westmont with her husband Louis and her two kids; Tommy (2) and Grace (1). At an early age Annie found a love for gymnastics and figure skating. After graduating she spent years in the hospitality management industry working as a coordinator for weddings and other social events. Working full time and having two kids so close in age took a toll on her body, and she became focused on health and fitness. She believes that being in the gym can be intimidating after having a baby, and having a place where you can bring your baby, meet other moms, and get a great workout is an absolutely perfect combination.

Carly and her husband Kevin recently moved back to Riverside, IL from NYC with their son Jake who just turned one. Carly was an avid runner and competed in half and full marathons pre-Jake, but pregnancy took its toll on her fitness level and fitness confidence. She was anxious to get back in shape and regain her strength and endurance. Carly says, "I love Stroller Strides because I can have Jake with me while I get in a great workout and build confidence thanks to the encouragement and motivation from moms who understand!"

Originally from St. Charles, Erin moved to Los Angeles upon graduating from the University of Iowa and worked in reality television for over a decade. After the birth of her daughter, Felicity, Erin realized she wanted to raise Felicity closer to family, so she and her husband left LA and ended up in Naperville. Erin joined Stroller Strides on a whim to try the one free class, and as soon as she did, she was hooked! Having always been into yoga, pilates and dance, Erin couldn’t believe how much stronger her body got while in Stroller Strides. Having made the exciting transition from student to teacher, Erin’s favorite part of the job is helping other Moms find new strength as well! Well, that and hanging out with all the awesome kiddos at class. :)

Kelsey Barnholt lives in Clarendon Hills with her husband, Kyle, and newborn daughter, Kendall. Kelsey, who played high school and collegiate lacrosse, developed a passion for fitness and nutrition when she began running road races during college. Kelsey has run many races of varying distances, from 5k races to the marathon, and continued to run during her pregnancy. In addition to running the Chicago Marathon and the New York Marathon, she qualified for, and ran, the Boston Marathon three times—the most recent being in April 2015, just three months after delivering Kendall. Kelsey also loves to barefoot waterski during the summer!

Kelsey, who has a master’s degree from the University of Chicago, previously worked as a market research strategist, but was looking for a way to pursue her passion for fitness. After the birth of her daughter, Kelsey became a Fit4Mom Certified Instructor to finally pursue her passion and be able to stay at home with her daughter, all while setting a positive example of a healthy lifestyle. Kelsey seeks to inspire her daughter and other moms to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Lauren Pedecone lives in Bolingbrook with her husband, Ron, son, Michael (1 ½ ) and dog, Gambit. After graduating from the University of Iowa, she taught 8th grade English for seven years before having Michael. At that point, she decided to be a full-time stay at home mommy. Lauren started her FIT4MOM experience the summer of 2014 where she fell in love with the classes. After deciding to stay home, she knew she had to get right back to Stroller Strides! Now she teaches class in Naperville and loves every minute of it. Coming from a diverse background consisting of formal dance training, being an athlete in a number of sports, coaching, and being an overall fitness fanatic, she knew she would love transitioning to teaching Stroller Strides. Lauren says, “It’s the perfect package. I can still bring my English background to class by reading books and learning through songs. In addition, I get a great workout all while hanging out with some of the best moms! FIT4MOM rocks!”

Ashley and her husband Pete recently relocated to the US from Sydney, Australia. A US native, she lived in Sydney for 10 years. Always passionate about fitness, she completed her Personal Trainer Certificate in 2007, but soon found herself working as a HR Manager in the corporate world. After having her two children Anderson (2 1/2) and Juliet (14 months) and moving back to the US, to a new state which they knew no one, she found herself looking for ways to network with moms and get involved in the community. Finding the FIT4MOM group in 2016, she decided combine two of her passions - fitness and making new friends! Ashley is a Body Back Instructor Sub and soon to be Fit4Baby & Stroller Strides Instructor! more

Ashley Papanikolas discovered FIT4MOM shortly after her first son was born in St. Louis. As a new mom with few “mom friends,” she took the classes religiously, finding it a great outlet to connect with other moms, socialize her baby and get back into pre-baby shape. After taking the class again when she moved to Downers Grove, Ashley decided to re-visit her fitness roots and start teaching FIT4MOM classes.

Currently a certified Body Back instructor, Ashley channels her fitness background while building her classes. She has three years of group fitness experience and taught several class formats. Additionally, she led new instructor training and instructor evaluations for University of Missouri’s TigerX program. She is in the process of renewing her AFAA certification to continue to build her fitness education.

Ashley loves to connect with other moms at Stroller Strides with her two crazy boys – Camden (1) and Chase (3) and at Body Back (without her kids!) and hopes to pass on her love for fitness and FIT4MOM to other moms on their fitness and motherhood journeys.

I love my family- I am a mom of 2, Eva and Levi, and my husband Tyler is the youth pastor at Cornerstone Community Church in Brookfield. I have always had a deep appreciating for exercise and staying healthy and doing things in a more "natural" way. I also have an overwhelming love for people and relationship. Fit4mom combines all 3 of these things that I love into one and I couldn't be more thrilled and honored to be a part of such an awesome experience and community.

Leticia lives in Hickory Hills with husband Andres and baby Andres (9 months). Before pregnancy, she spent most of her evenings and weekends taking bootcamp and indoor cycling classes. She learned about Fit4Baby though a friend and tried out a free class one evening. She absolutely loved it! Once Andres was born, she joined Stroller Strides. "As a first time mom it is so great to meet and become friends with other moms in your surrounding neighborhood," she says. As a teacher by profession, she likes that she can spend part of her summer break exercising without having to leave her little one with the sitter. more

Lisa lives in Oak Park with her husband Adam, daughter Libby(18 months), and pit-mix rescue LuLu. Before Lisa took on her new role as Mommy she was a professional actor in New York City and here in Chicago. Majoring in Musical Theatre and minoring in dance, Lisa quickly learned that she would need numerous jobs to support her career choice! Besides the typical waitress/bartender route, Lisa also went into teaching early childhood music and group fitness. Always having a love for fitness and participating in numerous sports growing up, becoming a group fitness instructor was something she had always wanted to do. Once Lisa experienced a Stroller Strides class with her daughter she knew it was a perfect fit for her to continue her path as an instructor! It incorporates all things that she loves....group fitness, kiddos, singing songs, and socializing! Lisa is thrilled to meet new Moms and help them achieve goals throughout their fitness journey, no matter what stage they are in!

Lisa Ann Hahn lives in Downers Grove with her husband, Nick, and 3 daughters, Coraline (5), Camryn(3), and Maeve (1). They are a pet friendly home with a dog, cat, bearded dragon, 3 fish, and 2 snails!

Lisa was first introduced to FIT4MOM after her third daughter was born. She and a friend, who also recently had a baby, thought it would be nice to meet weekly while getting a workout in. Stroller Strides at the Morton Arboretum seemed to be the perfect fit, and it was! Throughout the next few weeks Lisa's instructor noticed her enthusiasm for fitness and thought it would be a great asset to the FIT4MOM team. When approached about it she was happy to jump on board!

Prior to being a stay at home mom. Lisa taught physical education and health to high school students. She also coached a number of sports: diving, gymnastics, cross country, and track and field. She enjoys long distance running, traveling to Colorado to visit her sister, book club, and chocolate! Lots of chocolate!!

Robyn Deren lives in Oak Brook with her husband Andrew, two daughters; Abbie (6) and Maddie (1) and their half Maltese half Yorkie, named Simba. After leaving corporate life to raise her first daughter, she looked for ways to stay fit, healthy and active from running 5k’s to half marathons, skiing, or even tennis. She took her passion for running and became a group leader for CARA to train new runners on running their first 5K. With the arrival of Maddie, the Chicago Marathon was the goal to get back in shape, but unable to train she looked for other ways to get fit again. She found Stroller Strides at the Morton Arboretum and since then has been hooked with the ability to not only get a fantastic workout, but to meet other moms and have fun at the same time with your kids in tow. Becoming an instructor was the next natural step and she hopes to help others moms obtain their fitness goals and have fun with other awesome moms at the same time!
