Kelsey Barnholt lives in Clarendon Hills with her husband, Kyle, and newborn daughter, Kendall. Kelsey, who played high school and collegiate lacrosse, developed a passion for fitness and nutrition when she began running road races during college. Kelsey has run many races of varying distances, from 5k races to the marathon, and continued to run during her pregnancy. In addition to running the Chicago Marathon and the New York Marathon, she qualified for, and ran, the Boston Marathon three times—the most recent being in April 2015, just three months after delivering Kendall. Kelsey also loves to barefoot waterski during the summer!
Kelsey, who has a master’s degree from the University of Chicago, previously worked as a market research strategist, but was looking for a way to pursue her passion for fitness. After the birth of her daughter, Kelsey became a Fit4Mom Certified Instructor to finally pursue her passion and be able to stay at home with her daughter, all while setting a positive example of a healthy lifestyle. Kelsey seeks to inspire her daughter and other moms to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
